Draw the Suspect

Three witnesses saw the suspect, and no two of them agree. Read their statements, sketch the face if you like, then pick the right one out of a line-up of six.

How to play

  1. 1Read the statementsThree witnesses each saw the suspect. At least one of them has a detail wrong.
  2. 2Sketch the faceYou get 60 seconds. It's optional, and your sketch never leaves your device.
  3. 3Pick from the line-upSix faces, one suspect. A right pick scores 100, and a quick one up to 50 more.

A police sketch game for every day

Draw the Suspect is a free daily game for anyone who has ever said they would know a face if they saw it again. Every day brings 5 new cases from our case bank: painted suspects, each described by three witnesses who never quite agree. Work out which details to trust, draw what they saw, and pick the suspect out of the line-up before the speed bonus runs out. A perfect day scores 750.

Close all five cases to keep your streak going: every day in a row adds one. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing here asks for a photo, and nothing you do is sent to an AI. The suspects are illustrations from our case bank, and your sketches stay on your device.

Funnier with real faces

Play it live: everyone's mugshot goes in the line-up, the witnesses get a three-second look, and the whole room sketches on their phones.

The live game

Draw the Suspect began as a party game for a room. On Decka, the suspects are the room's own mugshots: two or three witnesses each get a three-second look, everyone else sketches on their phone, and the big screen puts the sketches up on the line-up wall before the real face drops in. It plays like back-to-back drawing, with a twist, at parties, team socials and in class.
