How the Daily duel works

    Write one line

    Everyone gets the same prompt, every day. Write the funniest line you can, up to 80 characters. We check it’s family-friendly before anyone else can see it.

    Judge ten duels

    Pick the funnier of two lines, with no names on either. Today’s prompt comes first, then bonus rounds from the last two days.

    Get your rank

    Every pick counts toward each line’s win rate and rank. Yours is final after 15 judged duels or 7 days. Come back to see it, or open your private link.

No sign-in to play. When you write a line, we keep a cookie with a random number so this device can show you your results next time, and we give you a private result link that works on any device. Lines are kept for 90 days.
