# How a Planet Got Fired

Source: https://decka.dev/templates/how-a-planet-got-fired-c093b5e48efd

A 16-minute talk on why Pluto is not a planet: a farm boy, an 11-year-old at breakfast, a vote on the last day of a conference, and a spacecraft that was already on its way. The room takes the same vote the astronomers did, on the same three rules. Everything to say is in the speaker notes.

Slides: 29.
