Where should we host the Q3 offsite?
Break the ice before the agenda.
Open with a zero-stakes question and give everyone a reason to take their phone out — the same motion they'll use for every activity that follows. Thirty seconds in, the whole room has already participated once.

SLD.FUN/HELLO
How are you arriving this morning?
Ask what a multiple-choice poll can’t.
Some questions don’t fit four neat options. Let the room answer in their own words and Decka reads every response for you — a one-line AI summary lands under the question and a live topic breakdown shows what people keep raising. You get the signal instantly, without scrolling a wall of text on stage.

SLD.FUN/CANDID
What's the biggest thing slowing your team down right now?
Let the room pick more than one.
Turn on multi-select and everyone taps their top options, then hits Submit. The bars show where the group’s priorities actually cluster — the fastest way to settle ‘what should we tackle first?’ without a forty-minute debate.

Responses land on your slide in real time, in front of the whole room.
What is a live poll?
A live poll is a question you put to your audience during a presentation, answered on their phones, with results displayed in real time in front of everyone. Instead of a show of hands — slow, public, and easy to miscount — every participant taps an option and the chart on the big screen updates as the votes land.
Live polls work because they lower the cost of participating: answering is private, takes seconds, and requires nothing but the phone already in everyone's pocket. Presenters use them to open meetings, check understanding in classrooms, gather sentiment at all-hands, and settle decisions in workshops. In Decka, a poll is a slide in your deck — the audience joins once by QR code, and the results animate right where everyone is already looking.
FAQ
Live poll questions, answered
How do participants vote in a live poll?
They scan a QR code on your slide (or open a link) and vote from their phone's browser. No app to install and no account to create — any device with a browser works.
How many people can vote at once?
Up to 30 participants per live activity on the free plan and up to 300 on Pro. If an activity reaches your plan's cap, everyone already in stays connected — additional people just can't join that activity.
Is Decka free for live polls?
Yes. The presentation editor is free forever, and the free plan includes live activities — polls among them — with up to 30 participants. Upgrade to Pro when you need a larger audience.
Are poll responses anonymous?
Yes, by default. You can optionally require names if your session needs them. Either way, participant data is never sold or shared.
Does it work in PowerPoint or Google Slides?
Yes. Decka works as a standalone web editor, as a PowerPoint add-in, and as a Google Slides extension — your poll runs inside the slides you already present.
