Are all the activities on the Free plan?
Yes. All 56 activities are on every plan, Free included: the polls, quizzes, games and team builders, and every ready-made lesson in the classroom library. No activity is locked to a plan. Upgrading makes the room bigger, removes the session limit and adds the extras around the activities.
What counts as a live session?
Free includes 2 live sessions a month and 200 people a month. A day counts as a session once an activity reaches 8 or more people, however many activities you run that day; smaller groups never count. Everyone who joins an activity of 8 or more counts toward the 200 people a month, once each. Pro and Badass have no session limit.
What happens when an activity is full?
Each plan sets how many people can join one activity: 50 on Free, 150 on Pro and 300 on Badass. Once an activity is full, new people can't join it; everyone already in stays connected and the session keeps running. The first time your workspace ever goes over a limit, we don't stop the event: up to twice the limit can join, and we email you afterwards. From then on the limit holds. None of this touches the presentation editor.
What do Pro and Badass add?
Pro raises the room to 150 people per activity, removes the session limit, and adds Open and Pre-submission Q&A, AI insights on responses, Guess the Doodler reports, your own activity backgrounds and no Decka branding. Badass is everything in Pro with room for 300 people per activity, plus more AI: 12,000 AI credits a month instead of 6,000, 100 GB of media storage instead of 50 GB, and cheaper credit top-ups.
Do activities work in PowerPoint and Google Slides?
Yes, on every plan, through the PowerPoint add-in and the Google Slides Chrome extension. The polls, quizzes, games and team builders play in both, with these exceptions: classroom lessons in PowerPoint and Decka, Bingo in Decka only.
We're running one big event. Do we need Enterprise?
Not necessarily. Badass seats up to 300 people per activity. For a single bigger event, email us at hello@decka.dev: we can raise one workspace's room size for the month of the event, up to 10,000 people, without moving you to Enterprise. Meeting Dodgeball stays at 300 players a game.
What are AI credits for?
They pay for the AI in the presentation editor: drafting slide layouts, generating images and removing backgrounds. Every plan includes 3 credit-free full decks a month per user, plus 1,000 AI credits a month on Free, 6,000 on Pro and 12,000 on Badass. Need more? Top-ups of 5,000 credits cost $15 on Free and as little as $10 on Badass, and they don't reset monthly.
Should I choose monthly or annual billing?
Monthly billing gives you flexibility: Pro is $15 a month and Badass is $25 a month. Pro Annual is $120 billed once a year ($10 a month), saving 33% versus monthly. Badass Annual is $192 billed once a year ($16 a month), saving 36% versus monthly.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, cancel from your billing dashboard anytime. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer education or nonprofit discounts?
Yes. Contact us at hello@decka.dev with details about your school or organization and we’ll set you up with a custom plan.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
