Live Q&A where the best questions rise to the top.
Collect questions from any room and let upvotes do the moderating. Everyone submits from their phone, the audience votes, and the big screen always shows what people most want answered — no mic runs, no awkward silence.

Moderate questions live, right from your phone.
Switch on moderation mid-session and questions land in a queue on your phone instead of straight on the screen. Approve the on-topic ones with a tap and they cross onto the big screen; mark one answered and it dims for the whole room. Off-topic or duplicate questions never make it up.

Collect questions around the clock.
Open mode keeps the Q&A running before and during the session. People submit the moment the invite goes out, upvote each other's questions, and you walk on stage to a board that's already ranked by what the room most wants to ask.

Curate the questions before you present.
In Pre-submit mode the audience sends questions ahead of time and you choose which ones make the cut. Questions collect while you curate from your phone — select the ones worth asking, leave the rest — and the moment you start the session, the big screen opens on exactly the questions you approved.

How it works
- 01
Add it to your slides
Drop the activity into your deck — in the Decka editor, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
- 02
Audience joins by QR
Everyone scans and answers in their phone's browser. No app, no account, nothing to install.
- 03
Results live on the big screen
Responses land on your slide in real time, in front of the whole room.
Why run a live Q&A instead of open-mic questions?
An open microphone selects for confidence, not for the questions a room most needs answered. A live Q&A flips that: everyone submits from their phone, quietly and in parallel, and upvotes decide what rises. The result is a self-moderating queue — the big screen always shows what the audience collectively wants to know, and a question that's already been asked collects upvotes instead of a second trip to the microphone.
The format matters most where the stakes are highest: town halls where honest questions need anonymity, panels where a moderator can't sort paper cards fast enough, lectures where half the class shares the same confusion but nobody raises a hand. In Decka, Q&A runs inside your deck and joins by QR code — no app between your audience and their question.
FAQ
Live Q&A questions, answered
How do people submit questions?
They scan a QR code on your slide (or open a link) and type from their phone's browser. No app to install and no account to create.
How does upvoting work?
Participants see each other's questions on their phones and tap to upvote. The big screen reorders live as votes land, so the question the room most wants answered is always at the top when you're ready for it.
Can people ask questions anonymously?
Yes — sessions are anonymous by default, which is exactly what makes town-hall questions honest. You can optionally require names if your format needs them.
Can I moderate questions before they show on screen?
Yes — two ways. In Pre-submit mode you collect questions before the event and approve which ones appear once you go live. During any running session you can also switch on moderation and approve questions from your phone as they arrive. Both are premium activity features on Pro.
How many people can join a Q&A session?
Up to 30 participants per live activity on the free plan and up to 300 on Pro. Everyone already in a session stays connected even if the cap is reached.
